Sara Barnard lives in Brighton and does all her best writing on trains. She loves books, book people and book things. She has been writing ever since she was too small to reach the 'on' switch on the family Amstrad computer. She gets her love of words from her dad, who made sure she always had books to read and introduced her to the wonders of second-hand book shops at a young age. She is the author of Beautiful Broken Things and won the YA Book Prize for her novel Goodbye, Perfect.
A rather chunky text with some fabulous ideas and highly informative explanations/ introductions. A colleague brought this book to my attention and I borrowed her copy. I had only read approx a quarter and decided that I needed my very own copy. This book needs time, focus and attention to be fully appreciated, absorbed and put into practice. I am definitely looking forward to learning more about creative ways to support mine and my children's mental health AND to encorporating suggestions from the authors into my daily/weekly/monthly routine. So far, the creative processes I have read about seem reasonably easy to implement. I think every household would benefit from this book!
I am so happy with this book shop and the ability to be able to buy online vouchers. They were helpful and friendly when needed.
The Wheel of the Year An Illustrated Guide to Nature's Rhythms is the perfect book for connecting in with the seasons and I know it will be a staple in our home for many years to come. So many gorgeous activities, information and wonderful illustrations, you really can't go wrong. I also love supporting independent business, and the Little Lost Bookshop offered delightful service!
A must read for anyone want to get ahead on LinkedIn
This book is so much fun. It moves at a great pace, brilliant humour and so original.
If you are looking for a great holiday read then this is the one.
