Old Folk are an Old-timey group that play an Appalachian style of American folk, mixed with their own home-grown interpretations with original songs and tunes. Raised out of the Sydney Bluegrass scene, Old Folk bringing big bass, mandolin, fiddle, guitar. Old Folk are Isabelle Izzy Faz, Sophia Soapy Dishes, Madison Rollin Evans and John Paul Healy. Old Folk met and started playing music together at an old-time jam up in Katoomba, the Blue Mountains Gundungurra country, and retain much of that mountain ease.
